Magnet wire
An enameled wire for creating the magnetic flux by passing an electric current in a motor or a transformer. It is basically made up of baked paint on the surface of a thin copper wire. Originally this was an old cotton-covered wire or silk-covered wire, but changed to an enameled copper wire. There are various cross section sizes and shapes. There are also various insulating coatings (enamel).
