Inductor motor
A device for obtaining multiple poles from permanent magnets or electromagnets, which have a simple structure
with NS magnetic poles in the lengthwise direction, is called an inductor. There are separate methods used for
the stator and for the rotor. A typical example of the former is a claw pole type stepping motor, and fig. (a)
below shows the stator. The frequency generator used for the speed sensor is made into a generator.
One of the typical examples of the latter is shown in fig. (b),(c). This is the rotor of a hybrid stepping
motor.
