Feedforward control
A command signal subjected to arithmetic processing F is fed ahead of the feedback position, as shown in the block diagram below, when carrying out high-speed position control in a parts feeder, for instance, when the system characteristics are known. Feedforward control improves the accuracy and speed in positioning.
