Block diagram
A specialized, high-level flowchart used to design new systems or to describe and improve existing ones. When discussing the control of a motor, these are used to express the role and relation of electronic circuits and sensors using rectangles, triangles, circles, straight lines and arrows. In the figure below, using the real shapes of the motor, the inertial load and the tachogenerator make it easy to imagine. There are various ways of using such diagrams.
