Chapter 1 Reviewing the Motor System
Various types of motors exist. When viewed from a different angle, no perfect motor exists. A certain motor might have advantage A while having disadvantage B. Such imperfectness of motors is probably due to the fact that various motors have been designed differently for particular applications.
In this chapter, I would like to discuss motors in a systematic fashion.
Chapter 2 Understanding Motor Basics
In Chapter 1, we learned that various types of motor can be produced by combining the stator and a rotor. In Chapter 2, we will discuss the rotation principles of motors we are familiar with as well as their characteristics.
