On April 1, 2025, we merged with NIDEC ELESYS CORPORATION and started as the “new” NIDEC MOBILITY CORPORATION.

With technological innovations such as "electrification," "autonomous driving," and "connected" rapidly advancing, the automotive industry is said to be undergoing “One transition period in 100 years”. In a mobility society where secure/safety, comfort/ convenience, and environment/energy saving are always required, there is no end to the needs and challenges.

As both NIDEC ELESYS and NIDEC MOBILITY were engaged in the same automotive business, this merger will consolidate functions and unify the organizations. In addition, we will further strengthen our global sales, production, and development networks, and aim to collaborate and consolidate the knowledge of both companies in the expanding control technology domain, and challenge ourselves to create value.

In addition, we will establish a new Kawasaki office and a Nagoya office (scheduled to open in May 2025) to expand and strengthen our development functions. Based on the experience and achievements that both companies have cultivated over the years, we hope to continue to be a solutions company that gives end users dreams and excitements with our reliable quality and technical capabilities.

As the “new” NIDEC MOBILITY, we will continue to create value through new synergies and contribute to the development of a mobility society so that we can continue to be a company that is needed by society.
