From October 2023 to March 2024, our Indian base worked with NGOs (non-governmental organizations) to establish and operate skill centers to support the independence of women and girls.
A total of approximately 180 women and girls were trained at two skill centers established with the Aayushmat Sahyog Foundation to teach tailoring and sewing, and at a computer skills center established with the Beti Ek Lakshy Foundation to acquire digital literacy. After completing the training, with the support of each NGO, many of them found employment in boutiques and nearby companies, or supported computer education in nearby schools.
