In five-axis machining, geometric errors in a rotating axis (the tilt and position gap of the rotating axis) affect machining accuracy greatly.
This function uses a reference sphere installed on a table, and a touch sensor mounted on the spindle to calculate the rotating axis's central coordinate and geometric error in a simple operation. By setting the calculated geometric error as a corrective parameter, the user can perform high-accuracy five-axis machining.
