Nidec Corporation (TSE: 6594; OTC US: NJDCY) (the “Company”) today announced that the Nidec Group has decided to construct a technical center to exhibit a comprehensive lineup of its machine tools on Nidec Machine Tool Corporation’s premises in the city of Ritto, Shiga Prefecture.
After the construction is finished in November 2025, this facility is expected to promote Nidec as a “comprehensive machine tool manufacturer,” and showcase lathes, machining centers, gear machine tools, laser beam machines, and many other major machine tools of the Nidec Group, while offering optimum manufachturing solutions based on our group’s excellent technologies and knowhow, including lathe turning, cutting, grinding, and metallic lamination forming.
Going forward, Nidec Group companies will build similar facilities overseas, and stay united under the “One Nidec” policy to be able to serve our customers the same way around the world.
