Torque
The torque T generated by a motor shaft can be measured following the principle (a) and (b) shown below.
T = R(W2-W1)
Here R is the radius of a pulley wrapped with the string, and W2 and W1
the used weight and scale reading in the case of the one-scale method.
Figure (c) shows a setup using simple torque and speed meters to examine the relation between the motor's torque
and rotational speed.
