Magnetic steel
There are two types of ferromagnetic materials used in the construction of magnetic circuits, one is made of permanent magnet material and the other, a material with low remanence and coercive force. The former is called hard magnetic steel, in the sense that it is magnetically hard, and the latter is called soft magnetic steel, in the sense that it is magnetically soft.
