In addition, with the adoption of a three-level gear and a large-diameter bearing, VM660R can efficiently process dies and automotive and airplane components that require deep cut.

Spindle
This model has perfect ant-thermal displacement measures in place. The spindle head's main unit has a side wall cooling function, while the ball screws adopt a hollow cooling structure, and, to suppress the effects of chips and coolant heat on its machining accuracy, this model has on its bed section a trough exclusively for coolant.
